Bo Zhang is an Assistant Professor at the Military Education Department at the National University of Defense Technology in China.  He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the National University of Defense Technology, and a PhD from the PLA Academy of Military Science.

His research interests include Asia-Pacific regional security and stability, Sino-US relations, especially their military relations.  He served as a visiting fellow at the Pacific Forum, Centre for Strategic and International Studies in 2015, and at the Institute for Security and Development Policy in Sweden in 2010.

Zhang’s publications include: “Is China to Look on with Folded Arms? One Perspective on the Peninsula”, “A Cross-Straits Celebration of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression: Possibility and Prospect”, and “How will the U.S. General Election Influence the Sino-American Military Communication”
